Explore models and proposals
Find a model
Search the catalogue for the words you need and use the category filter to narrow the results. Open a model's page to read its full description, included components and dimensions, where the team has provided them.
The catalogue only shows public models. An unlisted model is shared by link and does not appear in catalogue results. Unlisted does not mean confidential: anyone with the link can open the page or embedded model without signing in. Do not use this setting to protect confidential information.
Rotate, zoom and return to the front
Larger models may first show a cover image and an Open 3D model button. Select it when you want to load the model; you can read the details before downloading the larger file. Where an optimised mobile version is available, the viewer may use it while keeping the original file stored.
Drag the model to rotate it. Use the mouse wheel, a pinch gesture on your phone, or the zoom buttons to zoom in and out. To move the framing, use the right mouse button or the two-finger gesture supported by your device.
Reset camera returns to the saved front view and framing. You can also start or pause rotation and open the viewer fullscreen. On devices without native fullscreen support, the app may enlarge the viewer within the page.
A saved front view opens with rotation paused to make the model easier to inspect. Descriptions and dimensions are supplied by the team; the viewer does not automatically verify those measurements.
Request a quote
Quote requests are available for public models. Enter your contact details, message and required quantity, then provide the requested consent. Wait for confirmation that the request has been saved before closing the page.
The request is linked to your chosen model. Contact details are stored privately for follow-up in the backoffice. Confirmation that a request was saved does not mean an email has already been sent, and is not a quotation or a commercial acceptance.
Comment on a proposal
For proposals shared as unlisted, use the comments and change-request area to explain what you would like revised. Quote requests are reserved for public catalogue models.
Comments and their follow-up status are private in the backoffice. This privacy applies to the requests and their management; it does not make the proposal link authenticated or confidential.
View images and videos
A model page may include renders and supporting videos alongside its 3D model. These can show finishes, settings and different viewpoints. The team adds them in the backoffice after publishing the model.
Back to homeSee the model in your space
Augmented reality (AR) lets you view a model where you intend to display it, through a phone camera or the view of your surroundings in a compatible headset. It helps you explore the object's position and presence in the space. Availability depends on the equipment, operating system, browser, permissions and resources needed to load the model.
Before you begin
Open the model page over HTTPS. If you see the cover and Open 3D model, select that button and wait for loading to finish. Then look for View in my space in the viewer: it only appears when AR capability is detected. Opening the page or using fullscreen keeps the 3D viewer on the page; entering AR is a separate action.
Choose an area with a visible floor, good lighting and enough clear space. Allow the camera or spatial-access permissions requested by your device. Watch out for real furniture, people and other obstacles as you move.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the model page in Safari and load the model. Chrome and Firefox on iOS may also open the experience through Quick Look; if the link opened inside another app, try Safari.
- Select View in my space and wait for the model to be prepared for Quick Look. Follow the prompts to use the camera.
- Point towards the floor and move the device slowly until you can place the model. Use the available controls to adjust its presentation.
- Close Quick Look to return to the model page and continue exploring in 3D.
This experience uses Apple Quick Look. Support for Chrome and Firefox on iOS benefits from an official model-viewer fix, but still depends on the device and browser. This version has not yet been validated in AR on a physical iPhone or iPad.
Android
- Open the model page in Chrome on an AR-compatible Android device and load the model.
- Select View in my space and allow the permissions requested by the browser.
- Point towards the floor, move the phone slowly and follow the instructions to place the model.
- Exit the AR session using the available control to return to the page's 3D viewer.
On Android, this experience uses WebXR in the browser. Not every Android device supports this mode. The model-viewer AR requirements and modes explain support detection, HTTPS and floor placement.
Meta Quest — experimental
Meta Quest Browser supports WebXR AR sessions with passthrough, which lets you see the physical space through the headset. This app's AR experience has not yet been validated on a physical Meta Quest. The button appearing does not guarantee that every model or control will work as expected. See mixed reality in Meta Quest Browser.
The initial scale may use the reference calibrated by the team, but positioning may require manual adjustment. This experimental option does not guarantee automatic floor detection or alignment in the headset.
- Open the model page in Meta Quest Browser. The page starts in a normal browser panel, where you can read the information and explore the model in 3D.
- Load the model and, if available, select View in my space. Allow the spatial access requested by the browser to attempt an immersive AR session with passthrough.
- Follow the session's instructions to detect the floor and place the model. Stay in an area clear of real obstacles.
- End the AR session using the available exit controls to return to the page in the browser panel.
If the button does not appear, the session does not start or the controls do not respond, continue exploring the model in 3D on the page. Opening the site in a headset does not, by itself, start an immersive session.
Placement, scale and large files
The experience is set up for floor placement. If the model does not settle on the floor, try a better-lit area, keep the floor in view and move the device slowly so it can detect the surface.
Scale can be adjusted. When the team saves an AR calibration reference, the model starts at that measurement while preserving its proportions in all three dimensions. An estimated reference is labelled as approximate scale. Without calibration, the model uses the scale in its file; the dimensions written on the page do not change it automatically. Use AR to visualise the model in its surroundings, and confirm measurements separately before manufacturing or installation.
Models with dense geometry or large textures may take longer, fail to open in AR or close the browser, even when they work in the 3D viewer. If this happens, return to the page and ask the team for a lighter version. An optimised phone version does not guarantee good performance on a headset.
Physical placement, apparent scale and motion tracking need to be checked on the intended device. An emulated mobile screen does not validate the real AR experience.
Back to homePublish and manage in the backoffice
The backoffice is at /admin and requires administrator access. Ask the person responsible for the catalogue for access. Never put credentials in descriptions, public messages or uploaded files.
Prepare a publication
- Enter the name, public address, description, category, included components and any available dimensions. Do not estimate measurements without a reliable basis.
- Choose whether the model should appear in the catalogue or be accessible only by link.
- Select the file and prepare the model. Review the import and optimisation warnings.
- Check materials, textures and orientation in the preview. Align the front and save the cover image.
- Publish and open the resulting page to check its presentation before sharing the link.
Supported source formats:
| Format | Preparation |
|---|---|
| GLB | A 3D model in one file. Validated before publication. |
| STL | Converted to GLB with your selected material. STL does not contain textures. |
| OBJ in ZIP | A ZIP containing exactly one OBJ, together with its MTL and required textures. Keep the relative paths between files. |
The documented source-file limit is 1000 MB per file, subject to the installation's configuration. A ZIP can contain up to 512 files. STL/OBJ conversion happens in the browser. Publishing saves the resulting GLB and is not a backup of your working files. Keep your originals.
Preparation can optimise textures and show the before-and-after result. If optimisation harms the result, choose to keep the original where that option is available. Published models are not automatically replaced with optimised versions.
Set the front, axes and cover
Frame the model and align it upright before setting the front. The 90° controls help correct models that are lying on their side. Check the thumbnail: it becomes the image used to present the publication.
When editing an existing model, Set front view and save cover saves the front and cover image. Wait for Front and cover saved. Save any pending name, description or visibility changes separately.
The chosen front also defines the rotation axes: the model's front, right and top. Align it upright before saving. Older front views are adapted for presentation while preserving existing GLBs. The preview, public page, embed, camera reset and AR use the same reference. New captures also save a framing reference to adapt the zoom to different screen shapes; older records without it may need their front view saved again.
Calibrate AR scale
When publishing or editing, enable Calibrate scale for AR and enter one real measurement in metres: height, width or depth. Height is selected initially, but its value stays empty until you enter it. Use a known measurement or an estimate, keeping Estimated measurement enabled when the value is approximate.
The reference covers the whole model, end to end, including its base, with the model upright in its saved front view. One measurement scales all three dimensions uniformly, preserving proportions. Technical dimensions on the page remain independent and are not automatically copied into calibration.
Save the changes or publish the model to apply the reference. To remove it, disable Calibrate scale for AR and save. Existing models keep their file scale until calibration is enabled. Review the measurement after changing the front orientation or replacing the file. This reference supports visualisation in a space; it does not certify manufacturing or installation measurements.
Replace the file without changing the link
Use file replacement when editing the model. Prepare and check the new model before confirming. Replacement keeps the publication's address and other information. You can choose a new front and cover; if you do not, the previous ones are kept. Check the result, because a file with different proportions may need different framing.
Add renders and videos
After publication, open the model's backoffice editor to upload associated materials. Limits are:
| Material | Formats | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Render or image | JPEG, PNG, WebP | 20 MB per file |
| Video | MP4, WebM | 1000 MB per file |
| Model gallery | Images and videos combined | Up to 24 items |
These materials complement the 3D model. They do not replace its GLB or the cover saved with the front view. The maximum upload size does not guarantee playback in every browser: video encoding and device resources also matter. Removing an item from the gallery removes its association with the publication; the file remains in storage. This does not revoke access through a file URL that has already been shared.
Follow up on requests
Quote requests are managed at /admin/quotes. Commercial status and notification status are separate: a request can be saved even if no email was sent.
Resend notifications still depend on a configured service key and a verified sender. Until configuration and delivery have been validated, check the backoffice to follow up on requests. Comments and change requests for unlisted proposals are also managed privately.
Manage customer access
Customer accounts are created and managed only by authorised staff at /admin/customers; there is no public sign-up, SSO or Supabase login. Give each customer the temporary password through a secure channel. It is shown only when created or reset, expires after 7 days and must be changed on first sign-in. Resetting a password revokes existing sessions. The customer area currently provides account access only; Studio and project workspaces have not been implemented.
Translate model content
Use the model translation editor to translate the title, description, category, component list and media captions without changing the Portuguese source, geometry, dimensions or files. Save unfinished work as pending. Only a reviewed translation whose source version is still current is shown publicly; missing, pending or stale translations fall back explicitly to Portuguese. If the source changes, compare every field before reviewing again.
Back to homeShare and embed
Use Copy model link to share the page. To show the model on a website, copy the embed code provided by the app and check that the website editor allows iframes.
For WebXR in an iframe, keep allow="fullscreen; xr-spatial-tracking" and use HTTPS. If you previously copied older embed code, replace it with the current code. Permissions on the host website can also prevent AR. Opening the full model page helps distinguish that situation from a device limitation. See model-viewer's AR and embedding requirements.
Sharing or embedding an unlisted model still gives access to anyone who receives the link. Do not put confidential information on the page or in associated files.
Back to homeUse an assistant through MCP
An authorised MCP integration can read and manage publications through the POSTER SHOW MCP endpoint, using Streamable HTTP transport. Configure Authorization: Bearer <integration token> in your MCP client. The text in angle brackets is only a placeholder: obtain the token from the administrator and store it in your client's secure configuration. This token is separate from backoffice access and must never be pasted into public content.
The following tools use model to identify a publication by slug or UUID. Check tools/list for the complete current schema before making calls.
| Tool | Main parameters | Behaviour |
|---|---|---|
list_models | No parameters: {}. | Lists publications, including unlisted models, with page and embed links. |
get_model | model. | Reads a publication's data and links. |
publish_glb_from_url | Required: title, slug, glbUrl, posterUrl. Optional: description, category, composition, dimensions, arCalibration, visibility, backgroundColor, autoRotate, frontView. | Imports a GLB 2.0 file and cover from public HTTPS URLs; returns the publication and preparation diagnostics. Visibility defaults to public; use unlisted for link-only sharing. |
replace_model_from_url | model, glbUrl; optional frontView. | Replaces the GLB while preserving publication data and links. Use update_model to change the matching cover. |
update_model | model and the fields to change: title, slug, description, category, composition, dimensions, arCalibration, visibility, backgroundColor, autoRotate, frontView, posterUrl, mobileAsset. | Changes only the supplied fields. mobileAsset associates a previously prepared mobile version. |
attach_model_media | model, pathname; optional caption, up to 500 characters. | Associates a file already uploaded through the authenticated backoffice to that model's media folder. Checks ownership, type, size and signature; it does not upload files or import arbitrary URLs. |
edit_model_media | model, items: the complete ordered list of objects containing an id UUID and caption up to 500 characters; maximum 24 items. | Sets gallery order and captions. Omitted items are detached; their Blob files remain. Use the current gallery revision when the schema exposes revision, particularly when removing items. |
get_model_translation | model, locale. | Reads the Portuguese source, separate translation, current source hash, opaque revision and translation status without changing geometry or assets. |
update_model_translation | model, locale, current sourceHash, current revision (or null when missing), complete translated fields, and reviewStatus. | Saves display text only. Pending or stale entries are not shown publicly; use all original media UUIDs for captions and reread before resolving a conflict. |
delete_model | model, confirm: true. | Permanently deletes the publication and its files. This is different from detaching an item from a gallery. |
To convert STL or an OBJ ZIP, use backoffice preparation; publication by URL accepts GLB.
For publication by URL, the GLB and cover must have publicly accessible HTTPS URLs. Local addresses and private networks are not accepted. Documented limits are 1000 MB for the GLB and 12 MB for the cover. The MCP cover limit is separate from the gallery-render limit.
Ask the assistant to read the model before changing it and check the saved result afterwards. In update_model, omitted fields preserve their current values. In edit_model_media, items represents the complete desired gallery: include every item you want to keep, in the correct order. Detaching an item does not delete its Blob or revoke access through a previously shared file URL.
Technical data supports descriptions up to 20,000 characters, categories up to 100 and component lists up to 10,000. dimensions accepts width, height and depth in metres; only supply known measurements. Remote publication and replacement preserve the textures received; texture optimisation is available during backoffice preparation.
To calibrate AR scale, arCalibration accepts axis (width, height or depth), meters (a positive number up to 10,000) and approximate (a required boolean). Supply a measurement of the complete model, including its base, in the saved front orientation. arCalibration: null removes the reference; omitting it from an update preserves it. This reference is independent of dimensions.
frontView contains the camera, target and orientation; framing may include fieldOfView and framingAspect. Angles are in degrees, and radius and target coordinates are in metres. Omitting the front preserves it; frontView: null restores the default view. Use update_model.posterUrl for a matching cover.
For technical operators, update_model.mobileAsset accepts an already prepared GLB version with an HTTPS url, HTTPS sourceUrl and size in bytes. sourceUrl must match the current original GLB URL: the variant is linked to its source without replacing it. mobileAsset: null removes the association. This field does not generate or upload a variant automatically.
Quote requests, comments and change requests are not exposed through these MCP tools. They are managed only in the authenticated backoffice. Resend notifications still require a service key and verified sender; a saved request does not mean an email has been sent.
Back to homeFrequently asked questions
I cannot find a model in search. Has it been deleted?
Not necessarily. Clear the search and category filter. Unlisted models only open by link and do not appear in the catalogue. If you have the link but its page no longer opens, check with the team whether the address or publication has changed.
An old description was cut short. Can the app recover the missing text?
No. Descriptions now support up to 20,000 characters, but text removed by an older limit cannot be reconstructed automatically. Recover it from the original source and save it again. The page should show the content that is actually stored.
Why is the augmented-reality button missing?
If Open 3D model appears, select it first and wait for loading. View in my space only appears when the viewer detects AR support. Check HTTPS, permissions and browser: Safari, Chrome or Firefox on a compatible iPhone/iPad; Chrome on compatible Android; Meta Quest Browser as an experimental option. If you are inside another app, open the link directly in a browser. You can still explore the model in 3D when AR is unavailable.
I opened the page on Meta Quest. Why is the model inside a panel?
That is normal browser mode. To try placing the model in your real space, load it and select View in my space, if the button is available. Only that action requests an immersive AR session with passthrough. Meta Quest support is experimental and has not yet been validated on a physical headset.
How do I leave AR and return to the 3D model?
On iPhone/iPad, close Quick Look. On Android or Meta Quest, use the available controls to end the AR session and return to the page. You can then rotate, zoom and frame the model in the viewer again.
The model opens in 3D, but AR is slow or fails. What should I do?
Preparing AR and using the camera or immersive session can require extra resources. Wait for preparation; if it fails, return to the page, check permissions and try a lighter version. The team should reduce geometry or textures and check the result on the intended device. A mobile variant does not guarantee Meta Quest performance.
Will a 1000 MB file work on my phone?
There is no guarantee. The upload limit is not a viewing-memory limit. Geometry, textures, conversion and other open apps can require more resources than your device has available. Prepare a lighter version and check it on a phone representative of your intended audience.
A model with 8K textures fails or closes the page. What should I do?
An 8K texture can occupy a lot of memory after decoding, even when its compressed file looks small. Multiple textures and AR conversion increase memory pressure. Reduce texture resolution and model complexity, prepare the publication again and test it. An 8K-related failure may be a memory issue, but does not identify the cause of every error.
Does AR scale match the dimensions on the page?
Page dimensions do not automatically calibrate AR. The team can save a separate scale reference using a known or estimated height, width or depth; estimates are labelled as approximate scale. Without that reference, the file's scale is used. Adjusting the model on screen does not certify real manufacturing or installation measurements.
My request was confirmed, but no email arrived.
Your request may still have been saved correctly. Email delivery is separate and depends on service configuration and delivery. The team should check the backoffice record; a missing email does not necessarily mean a lost request.
The model opens on the site, but AR does not work when embedded.
Update the iframe to include allow="fullscreen; xr-spatial-tracking", and check HTTPS and the host website's permissions. Also try opening the full model page. See the official AR requirements.
Is an unlisted proposal private?
It is absent from the catalogue, but its link does not require authentication. Private handling of comments in the backoffice does not restrict access to the model itself. Confidential content requires a separate access-control mechanism.
